Foobar2K v0.9.5.3 does not like single track Flac file?
I recently upgraded to v0.9.5.3, and starting to get file path exception when I point fb2k to a folder with multiple single track flac files. I remember it worked with lower version of fb2k. And the new one is still working with single track ape files. Any one has the similar experience?- pftrvlr

Something better than Wooaudio 3
I had the Wooaudio 3 before, and did not like the flat sounding. I sold the amp, but still have quite a few 6dj8 and 6as7 tubes left. Being wanting to put the tubes to good use, I built this DIY headphone amp. After two weeks tweak and listening, I'm glad that it sounds better than the Woo 3...- pftrvlr

How big a capacitor is too big?
Looking to build one tube headphone amp. Most of the schematics I see use 220uf/400v electrolytic capacitor in PSU. I find in ebay some 2200uf/400v for sale. Is 2200uf a overkill for phone amp? How big is too big for the application? Yeah, 2200uf/400v capacitors are big - 50mm x 155mm!- pftrvlr

110/220 Power Transformer
The power transformer in my 708B amp is wired for 220v. It looks like that there are two 110v primaries connected in series. I want to convert it to 110v. Should I just connect the two primaries as parallel?- pftrvlr

Looking for a not-so-typical MP3 Player
A friend of mine gave me a Samsung MP3 player that has some MP3 songs already loaded. It is tiny. It is convenient. But the sound from the earbug is so bad that I could not put up with it. I like my RCD951->MF A300->BW DM305 so much better. But I don't get to play with my Hi-Fi that often...- pftrvlr
