For me it sounds a little warmish when compared to Exclusive 1 and 2 which is more agressive instead.

Try out sony Song Pal app on iphone, it might works better than Onkyo player in terms of DSD output.

ft The app I mentioned above does not support streaming service, it is like a regular audio player that you phone has but at a more advance scale in terms of sound output but the ui is another story.

Cool, if that works for you then good. Also to repeat what I said in the past, use Song Pal App (by Sony) if you want a free app that outputs DSD file natively from you phone.

If you purchase the cable of first picture, you can only use it to connect between your Q1 II and Phone, but if you order cable of second picture, you don't have to worry about CABLE COMPATIBILITY issue. As simple as that.

First and second pictures are both OTG cable. But if you use the first cable, Q1 II will recognise it as a DAC connected to a phone thus Q1 II will not to drain your phone battery. Whereas if you use the second cable, Q1 II will recognise it as a DAC connected to laptop/pc INSTEAD of phone thus...

You can, but Q1 in this case will only act as an amp.

Try installing Sony's Song Pal app, and connect Q1 II (SWITCHED OFF) to your phone (SWITCHED ON AND SCREEN UNLOCKED), then launch the "Song Pal" app. Once connection is done, switch your Q1 II ON and wait for maybe 1 minute. A white box or maybe black will pop up asking whether you want to use...

What you said there was right if you are a iphone user since only a (or maybe two) lightning to micro usb otg cable is provided.

Use a micro male to micro male cable (1st config) if it works instead of a micro male to usb type a female and a usb type a male to micro male (2nd config) because fiio q1 2nd will drain your phone battery untill it is dry if you connect it to your smartphone by using 2nd config. Others than...

Glad to hear that, my parents will not care if I am to spend 1000 or 3000 usd for anything as long as the money I spend is not theirs...... well to be honest, all those DAPs is just a luxurious item and of course I do not have that much amount of money for those crap. Interference by bluetooth...

Agreed but there are still problem that are annoying that are not solved yet in example loud pop sound at the end of some DSD track......... also DXD playback is impossible without noise on Aune M1s......... I also love this player for its simplicity but hates its software incompletion and bugs.

Let me clarify my statement, "Any audio player that is based on China COMPANY (China Brand) and quality is controlled by them". Just for your information, Sony DAP that are sold in Malaysia is normally made in Malaysia or Thailand, not China.

Glad that you also mentioned about the same issue....... however, I don't think they care anymore........ it has been a while since they release the last update...... just sell this unit and get other brand that is not from China.........
