[FiiO M11] Android 7.0, 2.5/3.5/4.4 Powerful Output, Exynos 7872, Dual AK4493 DAC chips, 3GB RAM, WiFi, Two-way LDAC

My M11 won't start or charge. I had it plugged in over night and it wouldn't start in the morning. Any ideas what to do? I left it un plugged for a week, and then tried charging it via a lower voltage charge, which Fiio's website says to do, but it didn't work. Anyone have this issue before?

The Hardest hitting Headphones are.. ( "The EXTREME BASS Club")

I ended up getting the V-Moda M100 Master Headphones. Amazon no longer had the original M-100's in stock, but I'm happy with these. As far as I can tell, they sound exactly the same as my Crossfade 2's, the only difference being that they don't have bluetooth.

The Hardest hitting Headphones are.. ( "The EXTREME BASS Club")

I would like to see someone compare the M-100s to the M-200s, though. I think I'm going to get one or the other. My Crossfade 2's work fine, even if the bent metal on one of the cups can start to hurt after an hour of listening, so I think I'll just keep my Crossfades to use bluetooth for...

The Hardest hitting Headphones are.. ( "The EXTREME BASS Club")

All the reviews I've read said they sound completely different. V-Moda specifically designed the M200s to have a more balanced and neutral sound, so I don't think the bass is as powerful. The M200's are being sold as "studio master" headphones, which usually means weaker, but more precise, bass.

I don't even see where they are sold, though. I won't buy headphones anywhere that doesn't have an Amazon-like return policy, because I need to listen to them for at least 24 hours (if not more) before I know if I like them or not.

The Hardest hitting Headphones are.. ( "The EXTREME BASS Club")

I've never heard the m100s so I can't compare, but the Crossfade 2's have a good deal of base, and from what I've read, I thought they were the same as the m100s, only with the addition of bluetooth, but I could be wrong. Honestly, I think they are super underrated. Audiophiles crap on them...

The Hardest hitting Headphones are.. ( "The EXTREME BASS Club")

The Crossfade 2's are 50mm and have a cord. I almost never listen to them wireless, but for what it's worth, they sound fine when I do. They have aptx, which is supposedly lossless equivalent. When I'd listen to them via aptx on my Fiio M11, I could never really tell a difference between...

What's the best bass headphone in the >$700 range? I was looking at the Fostex 610's, but read a terrible review that put me off. For some context, I've been mostly listening to the VModa Crossfade 2's for the past 3 years, but I broke them. I thought I'd upgrade, so I got the Audio-Technica...

I tried to make the best or these and I just had to return them. Yes, the sound separation and soundstage are superb and I kind of liked them when I listened to them on an amp with the bass turned up to 11, but I plugged them into my laptop with zero amp/dac and they just sounded like utter...

No, I was talking about Slim, not you. He said he ordered a pair for his office, but I don't think he's actually received them yet.

Maybe I'm mistaken, but I don't think he's actually heard the headphones yet. He ordered them and is defending them because......he spent money on them? I don't know why, but he's not defending them based on owning them. For what it's worth, they seem to have become slightly less...

Yes, that makes more sense and, honestly, I've been switching back and forth between WP900s and my V-Moda Crossfade 2's all afternoon now and I definitely think the WP900s are slightly better. If you turn up the bass on a DAC/Amp, their bass profiles can be made to sound very similar, but the...

For what it's worth, I'm using the Fiio Alpen 2 USB DAC/Amp and lossless FLAC files played through Music Bee. I did turn up the bass output on the amp and liked the headphones slightly better after that.

What does that actually mean, though? Audiophiles always say stuff like this as if what it means is self-evident. What does "refined" mean in this context?

I'm not really hearing the recessed mids, honestly. They sound fine to me, and clarity of mids has been pointed out on many reviews I've read. As I said, I'm not an audiophile, so maybe I'm not using the right terminology, but I assume by mids you mean vocals and stuff that falls in the middle...

I got these after doing lots of research and I'm really disappointed in them. I'm not an audiophile, so forgive me if I'm using the language incorrectly, but their only distinguishing characteristic seems to be that they have wonderful sound separation and a larger, airier, sound stage for...

I have Tidal too and mostly use it for ripping FLAC, which is easy to do with Tidal GUI. Is there a way to rip MQA files yet? Honestly, I really don't know if it's worth the effort to mess with high rez audio. I will collect them if I encounter them, but I have quite a few high rez audio...

I haven't been following this forum or updates about the M11. However, after one of the recent updates, suddenly my album art doesn't show up and the player crashes constantly when I'm playing playlists. Did something happen? Is this a known issue?

How does pure music mode work? I upgraded the firmware, but I don't see an option to switch to pure music mode in the options pulldown menu. Did it not upgrade? I think it did, in that I downloaded the upgrade, installed it, and the M11 rebooted, but I still don't see the option for pure...

The M11's biggest flaw is its lack of Google Play support. It's a pretty massive flaw that really hampers it from being an all purpose android media player. I don't especially care if Fiio releases an M11 Pro or a M15 in the same year as the M11. I'll only be pissed about it if the M11...

V-Moda only has ATX....so I'm stuck with that. I just got the V-Moda's new. I debated between them and the Sony noise canceling ones that support LDAC, but went with the V-Moda's because noise canceling freaks me out. Just curious if anyone else has the same issue with ATX.

I've noticed that the bluetooth connection is spotty when I connect to headphones via Aptx. It tends to beep, seeming to reconnect over and over as it loses the connection, for the first several minutes after I connect (using V-Moda Crossfade 2s). It will eventually go away as it finally...
