what material should i use between grill and wood now that i have fazors on backside and original dampening material does not fit anymore?

has anybody tried these with vegans and no foam on the back of the driver? i find sound quite nice this way and i think i gives soundstage. It could be my brain playing tricks with me tho.

Im very new to balanced cables and its benefits so, do i get any benefits if i plug balanced cable to unbalanced amp?

I got mine yesterday. everything works, no connector issues or cracks, and these shipped all the way to finland, but we'll see how these hold up.

I've been thinking if it is possible to replace mmcx connctors with 3pin or 4pin mini xlr connectors since whole audeze lcd family has 4pin mini xlr's and m1060's wiring looks exactly like lcd-2's wiring. Though i would need to make housings (similar to lcd series housings) for the xlr...
