I did research for a while & reached a point where I can decide which to pick for HD800S (currently on nfb28-16) I'll be picking RS-06 & V280 plus LP XLR cables your responses here helped me, thanks! now I'm just waiting for Synthax to reply on their email

It's been almost a year with HD800S & NFB28 (2016)   800S sounds great with NFB28 on balanced but is this amp/dac the best pair for 800S? i don't think so, after using ap2/pp i started to love the pair more (specially after 100+ hours burn-in) but i think i'll upgrade to v800/v280 soon anyways :)

I want to make sure i get the full potential of HD800S that's why for now i decided on v800/v280, I'm just worried about this combo not being musical/enjoyable or warm enough, I dislike any dryness in music.   I don't think i need v281 since i'll only use v280 for headphones & i don't need...

I was thinking about HDVA 600 for my HD800S but after researching more, I think I might buy V800/V280.    I would like to see them stacked beside HD800S! I talked to Arthur & he told me there is no noticeable difference between V280 / V281 but here I read there is a little difference.

  Thanks, which DAC (better than BB) do you suggest to work with HDVD 600 under $600 for HD800S? BNC digital input will be cool!
