Interesting. I was wondering if it's worth adding a chord Mojo as a DAC. I have a D7200, LCD-2C and now an LCD-X and I am very pretentious about the low-end always. If the mojo would give me only better bass, it would probably be worth it still.

The only way someone would find them comparable would be if they are using very poor amplification for the 2C. I also think the X2 are great for the price, and very comfy, but you can't compare them with 500-1000$ headphones

Really X2 can't compare to the bass the 2C is able to produce. Not even close, dunno what amps your using for the 2C but this comparison is blasphemy! Out of my 2C, Denon D7200, K712 &K812, I think the X2 has the most muddy bass, with K712 being pretty close. But the others are at least 1 or 2...

Interesting, thanks for pointing that out. Still if I do this with my K812 which have muddy bass and low volume on normal mode , it definitely makes them louder and fuller sounding, tightening up the bass a lot.

I have the X2, just take the cable out of your headphone and plug it in the v30 then in the X2..and you're in high impedance mode. Works for any low impedance headphone with a removable cable.
