At the moment I’m testing a V590 in my house. My headphone is a Hifiman HE1000 V2. Compared to my Hugo 2 the Violectric seems to drive the HE1000 V2 much more easily. Further I notice that I can raise the volume higher without feeling the need to turn it back.

I’m very happy with the Hugo 2 and the HEX V2 too, but I wonder what a different amplifier would bring in this case like you have.

I use the Hifiman HE1000 V2 with the H2 and I’m totally happy with this combination.

Meze 99 and Hugo 2 is a very bad combination. I’ve tried and found it even unlistenable because of way too much bass. And don’t forget the Aeon Flow Closed, which can solve your 2 problems at once :-)

You should consider a Mr Speakers Æon Flow Closed. I use it next to my Hifiman HE1000 V2 in combination with the Hugo 2.

I use a Violectric V280, Chord 2Qute and a HEK V2 and I'm totally happy with the music my set makes.

I haven't tried the V200 because I needed the balanced output. It sounds terrific with my HE-1000 V2. I don't have complaints about a narrow soundstage. You should give it a try.

I'm very happy with my Violectric V280 (amp only), which I bought a few weeks ago. I'm using it with ny Chord Mojo (DAC function only), but I've planned to replace the Mojo in the near future.

Question for Rob: is there any reason to expect that the Mojo should/could sound better with Poly than without? That could be the case when using the Mojo wireless through Poly rather than connect it to a computer with a cable.

I'm looking for a good quality USB cable to connect the Mojo to a new MacBook Pro with only USB-c connectors, without using an adapter. Or do you feel an adapter (USB-c to USB-A female) won't affect the sound at all?

I'd like to know if it's possible to put music on the micro sd-card in the Poly when it's in the Poly. It would be handy for me.
