Diana: the second release by Abyss Headphones!
If the power is halving with half the load I would assume the amp is current limited at both loads. Just like you would expect halving of power with doubling of load impedance when an amp is voltage limited. With just this basic info, personally i wouldn't make sweeping conclusions.- chocomel167

Diana: the second release by Abyss Headphones!
All amps will decrease output power with decreasing impedance at some point. They are not made of infinite current after all. Of course the important thing is to look at the power output at the impedance of the headphone at hand. At 32ohm the V281 already has about double the power compared an...- chocomel167

Never heard it. I didn't mean to imply it's bad or insufficient. To me personally it seems perfectly fine with a Diana.- chocomel167

Diana: the second release by Abyss Headphones!
All Jude's measurements indicate a leaky front volume, would you recommend regarding his measurements as not objective and experiments as well? If some headphones handle a lack of seal better or easier to get a seal with it's just better in that regard. Measurements showing that does not mean...- chocomel167

Their Measurements do align pretty well. As I explain/show here https://www.reddit.com/r/headphones/comments/kxw8qe/_/ Considering reports from users i don't believe the worse seal situation is unrealistic, in turn i would say it's definitely useful to have Measurements with that kinda...- chocomel167

Diana: the second release by Abyss Headphones!
Amir's Measurements seem fine, of course would have been nice if he had posted/done more Measurements to fully characterize the behavior with regards to seal and positioning but the FR he posted doesn't seem like an unrealistic result. It's more that his Measurements appear to be incomplete...- chocomel167

FX-Audio DAC-X6 initial impressions
Got my X6 for some time now, i think it's a great unit for the price. Powers all my headphones fine (hd580/eikon/hd800). I wish it had a gain switch though instead of having to open it up and change the jumpers. I'm also not a fan of the stepped knob, i would much rather have a "smooth" knob...- chocomel167
