And a reminder to all building the torpedo! Ground the ALPS RK27 before soldering on the OTs! Had a small issue with it as my screw driver wasn't small enough, and had a tough time putting on the ground wire.- yuujin

sorry if i didnt put it clearly enough. i just wanted to warn you regarding solid core wires for headphone recabling because i recabled my KSC75s with the mundorf silver/gold wires (26awg) and they snap so often it wasnt viable to use them anymore.- yuujin

hey darin, microphonics are not more pronounced with stranded. i never had this issue. you have to be careful for single core wires tho. if you are using thin gauges be wary of breakages.- yuujin

@anoxy: i could give you a brief rundown tho. I came from my previous set of 'customs', a pair of reshelled UE Super.Fi 5 EBs. VS Remoulded 5EBs : They sound similar but with lesser bass (more controlled) better mids and highs. Overall frequencies have more extension and the sound staging...- yuujin
