Looks like I'm never getting ahold of another yoke kit again. No dealers will even return my emails, audeze has already refused to deal with me, can't even find someone who IS an audeze owner to help me order one. Can't even waste $150 to buy a headband + yoke bundle off someone.- Dallagen

Comment by 'Dallagen' on listing 'Audeze Headband and Yokes'
Would you be willing to split the yokes and the headband? I already have a carbon fiber headband, just need a yoke kit and cannot for the life of me find one, if you're not willing to split I'll just take both off your hands.- Dallagen

changes the angle of the clamp force, was extremely uncomfortable for me without doing that.- Dallagen

I was bending where the rod attaches attempting to get it to have a better fit, evidently that overstressed the metal- Dallagen

Broke one of my audeze yokes trying to bend it into a position that was comfortable, which felt nearly impossible, looks like I need to go back to the original headband and find another yoke kit- Dallagen

The recommendation is to cut it off with tin snips or bend it out of the way with pliars, this will make the yokes not work great with audeze headphones however- Dallagen

Yeah I used the stock hifiman screws to secure the yoke, just make sure to not overtighten and to bend the audeze yokes a bit to fit Also make sure not to mix up the screw for the yoke rod stop screw and the screw to secure the yoke to the rod, if you do, you will break a screw off inside the...- Dallagen

Turns out I'm a dumbass, the Audeze yokes are not symmetrical, make sure to install them so that the headband is angled forward, and to anyone else looking at doing this mod on the HE5se or HE6se, you don't need any washers at all for the yokes either, as the HE6se has protrusions on the sides...- Dallagen

The headband is significantly better so far, but I feel like it makes pad comfort worse due to the way it pivots, at least if your pads aren't extremely angled, might be the fault of the carbon headband's higher clamping pressure. It ends up leaving a bad seal in the back and compressing the...- Dallagen

Comfort primarily, the he6se v2 headband is one of the worst Hifiman headbands overall- Dallagen

Still haven't gotten my yoke kit from The Source AV, they told me over the phone they'd have audeze drop ship it to me, ended up having it shipped to themselves, then they told me they'd ship it to me "first part" of this week, it's 2 days off of 2 weeks since I ordered it from them without even...- Dallagen

The extended yoke rods aren't the yoke kit, which need to be ordered from a dealer or audeze support.- Dallagen

Maybe I'll pick one up and give it some more time, would be nice to trim down the desk setup at least and go from bifrost - speaker amp - asgard to just bifrost - jotunheim- Dallagen

I tried my HE-6 on a jot2 at the schiitr and really only noticed the volume headroom difference, felt both had equal presentations with asgard being slightly warmer- Dallagen

Kind of opposites in setup here then lmao with my Bifrost into Asgard 3 I think asgard and jot both do pretty phenomenally with he6se, would you agree?- Dallagen
