Thanks! That's a whole can of worms I would have to learn about. I'm so used to ITunes and IPod's where I didn't have to jump through hoops for playback or playlists.

Let me know how it goes. I have a feeling that you will have wished it was gapless. Kind of ruins the intent of what Pink Floyd had in mind when you listened to their work on that album with artificial gaps in between their songs..

Really? So you are saying this DAP isn't worthy of Pink Floyd? How about a favorite live album? It would drive me insane hearing a gap between every song. So I should lower my expectations?

I respectfully disagree. An audiophile that wants to hear a hi-res version of his favorite music IE: Dark Side Of The Moon or whatever, would not accept gaps in between the songs at any price point. 

I would jump all over this player. But a lot of my favorite music needs to be played gapless, So no matter the sound quality, I wouldn't touch it until it does. I would think any audiophile would feel the same way. 

Does this player support playlists? If so, does it handle playlists similar to the Fiio products?

I don't understand how $150 DAP can be considered great if it doesn't do gapless playback? and some posts earlier on are saying that it still clips off the first second of a song. Shouldn't that be considered a deal breaker?
