Hey! I am searching a over ear headphone that is easy to drive. The reason for it being that I do want to be able to power it with my portable player. My budget is about 450€. I already thought about the Sony MDR-Z7 since I really liked the sound of the MDR-1A.

I wanna get the new PHA-2A and wanna use my MDR-1A balanced, but I would need a 3.5mm TRRS to 4.4mm balanced cable. The original cable from Sony costs more than the Headphones them self. I cannot find any alternative than building my own cable. Does someone of you know another alternative ?
