    thebit Opus#1S DAP impressions

Hello everyone, following suggestions earlier in this thread I managed to open my Opus 1s, pulled out battery and some other pieces and managed to get to the PCB level. There are both sockets (2.5mm and 3.5 mm), though without any markings. I would assume that they are more or less standard and...

I understand that when I open Opus, I can see which type of socket is needed :) Just thought that I would be better off opening player only once to make replacement :) My apologies for using a wrong word - of course, it's socket in the body of DAP.

Hello, It looks like 3.5mm jack of my Opus #1s started to give up. Could anyone point me in a direction of a replacement? I plan to replace it myself, just need to know which type of jack to buy. Many thanks!

There are plenty of similar batteries on e-bay, but with slightly different sizes. Do you happen to know how tight is the free place inside Opus for battery?

    thebit Opus#1S DAP impressions

Hello, I have my Opus #1s since about 6 months now and in general am quite happy with it. However, I encountered strange thing. Since maybe couple of weeks the output volume became much lower at the same settings. For example, I used to listen to my IEMs at the level 80, while now to achieve...

Well, according to the manual, 2.5mm balanced output can also be used to connect to balanced amplifier, not just to headphones with balanced cable. However, on top they suggest to connect 3.5mm cable as well...

Hello everyone, May I kindly ask for your help? This is a phrase which I've read in user manual: "Connect the device to a balanced audio input device through earphones port (Ø3.5mm) (ground) and balanced output port in conjunction." Picture shows that indeed they recommend using 2 cables, one...

DIY Cable Questions and Comments Thread

Hello, I am planning to build custom cable for Meze 99 Classics. It is known fact that they require slim 3.5 mm jacks for connection on headphone side. My measurements with existing cable show that actual diameter of said jacks is about 3.44 - 3.45 mm with stem length 14 mm. Now, I've been...

Thanks, that's what I've done while fitting pad back last time. So far it survived one hour on the go, so hopefully should be OK now.

Meze 99 Classics Discussion + Impressions Thread

I purchased my Meze early October 2017, so it is definitely covered by warranty. And I have not had any issues with them until this pad fell off. Lip does go all the way around, it was tucked in.

I have un-tucked it before fitting to headphone. If pad falls off tomorrow again, I'll use your advice in discussion with Meze. Many thanks!

Meze 99 Classics Discussion + Impressions Thread

Well, I made my 2 hour walk and all of a sudden after i arrived at home I have found my ear pad completed separated from my headphone. Took me some time to understand what happened. To note, this was not my longest or unusual walk with Meze 99 Classic. I have not taken any pictures of what had...

Quite a few very different responses. Is it really OK when a product of more than 300 USD value just falls apart randomly? I am not so sure, but if majority agrees this is OK, then it probably is? Cheers.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I've been very happy customer of Meze, using 99 Classics up until today. And guess what - today ear pad on my Meze 99 Classics simply fell off - so that I cannot even figure out how to fix it back again. Could anyone suggest the way to fix it? Many thanks!

Shanling M3s - dual AK4490 DAC, 2.5 balanced out, aptX BT, HiBy link, USB out, FW 1.7

I do not own iSine. I own Sine, which is full size on-ear closed back headphone. And yes, I am using equalizer on M3s, though I tend to change settings depending on the headphone that I use and type of music that I am listening to.
