I ended up going with the origen+ for the price vs features. It is defintaly not enough power for the he400i's. I piped its line out into the rca in's on my EF2-A and that is a little better r but i think the A-100 is gonna be the best setup without getting into crazy town. 

I was looking at the SMSL SanSkrit or Micca OriGen+. I Also was going to look into seeing if i could drop maybe a 110ohm resistor into there, or something along those lines so i could get a bit more power, but not run the risk of flipping the dial to far and blowing out drivers.

If you are still looking i would HIGHLY recommend the AD700x. While the bass does not have the impact you can get some some other headphones (i have a set of m50x that are much stronger in the bass department), there is a solid bass extension, and you can certainly here it and feel the drivers...

If you can get your hands on them Velodyne Vpulse are the best cost effective IEMs in regarding to bass, and they sound good across the rest of the spectrum too.
