SHURE CUTS THE CORD: RMCE-TW1 / TW2 - THE TRUE WIRELESS THREAD
Yes. Frequently. But for me I think it’s an iPhone 11 issue, rather than the tw1, because I get drop outs even when I’m motionless. I have no drop outs at all with the iPad Pro or my laptop. I think there is some process going on in the background that’s intermittently interfering with the...- PiggyD0g

The TW1 does not support Aptx HD. Only SBC, standard Aptx and AAC. Standard Aptx should be the best for Android and sound pretty good.- PiggyD0g

SHURE CUTS THE CORD: RMCE-TW1 / TW2 - THE TRUE WIRELESS THREAD
That’s surprising, since I understand the Poco F2 Pro has the Aptx codec. I have not tested the Tw1 with my SE535, but the sound quality using the SE846 with iPhone 11 Pro Max is great. However, I did have problems getting a good ear canal seal. The TW1 rubber straps are quite rigid and tended...- PiggyD0g

Chord 2Go & 2Yu Wired/Wireless Network streamer and S/PDIF adaptor - Official thread
Minrigs made in Bristol UK.They’re not cheap but the sound quality is very good. Bluetooth from a phone or wired up to the H2. it’s a modular system. So you can pick and choose the configuration. For a 2 week holiday I always bring two minrig 3s and a minrig 3subwoofer. The total speaker volume...- PiggyD0g

Are you able to provide more info on this? Yes I was taken aback by this. Here’s one source: https://bluetoothcheck.com/d/apple-iphone-11 https://bluetoothcheck.com/d/apple-iphone-11-pro-max Contrast with iPhone X: https://bluetoothcheck.com/d/apple-iphone-x I’m happy to be proven wrong...- PiggyD0g

The reason I asked for your music source is that I think the connection stability issues some people are experiencing may be iPhone iOS related rather than a problem with the TW1. There have been numerous complaints about iPhone Bluetooth connectivity since iOS 14 on the Apple forums. In my...- PiggyD0g

Yes. Really looking forward to the SE846 and TW1 combo. The TW1 has still not arrived here. As I mention in the thread, the Aonic 5 can’t hold a candle to the SE846 in any respect. I know it wouldn’t make business sense for the Aonic 5 to compete with the flagship, but I expected more. Should...- PiggyD0g

Review of Aonic 5 here: https://www.head-fi.org/showcase/shure-aonic-5.24650/ I would say they are the successor to the SE535.- PiggyD0g

Musicphotolife, your review was spot on. I’ve had my Aonic 5 for 2 weeks now and I agree that they are hard to like. While they are a slight improvement over the SE 535 with clearer more punchy bass and better mids, you have to experiment with the filter and ear tip combinations to counter the...- PiggyD0g

SHURE CUTS THE CORD: RMCE-TW1 / TW2 - THE TRUE WIRELESS THREAD
I upgraded from the SE535 where I felt the bass was a bit too subtle (They really didn’t excite me after the SE530). I love the richness of the low pass filter on the SE846, but the bass was slightly too dominant to my ears when using the blue filter. The white filter adds a touch more clarity...- PiggyD0g

Sounds like a fair deal. Make sure he gives you the blue, white and black filters and nozzle key (Blue is installed as standard). The filters provide significant differences to sound signature. Experiment and pick the one you like (I prefer the white).- PiggyD0g

Chord 2Go & 2Yu Wired/Wireless Network streamer and S/PDIF adaptor - Official thread
Bill, In can’t comment on 2Go (I have it but cannot use it because I need 2Yu for my Qutest), but I have super high speed fibre broadband and was experiencing persistent wifi drop outs generally and weak connectivity in the bedrooms (reinforced concrete apartment walls in Singapore). So I...- PiggyD0g

Both the Sandisk and Samsung main stores supply directly to Amazon. So it shouldn’t be a problem as long as you make sure they are the sellers rather than third party sellers. Just bought a Sandisk microSD.- PiggyD0g
