Hat-Fi, anyone?
I live up in the frosty north (calgary). But I'm too much of a tank to wear a hat. All kidding aside, I havn't worn a hat since my Falcons hat got wrecked. They don't make nice Falcons hats anymore, and the only other team I like (Arsenal) doesn't have crap in the way of hat selection. So...- karimoh

Any anime series that you've been enjoying?
none. Because I really really hate anime. I'm sorry I've been meaning to let that out for a while. Continue PS: dont bother responding to this because I won't be revisiting this thread. To each his own I just don't like anime.- karimoh

MP3 vs Uncompressed
Thats weird. Although I can definitely see the crackling being bit errors, I can't tell if they are scratched because *I ripped all those CD's then they broke, I lost the CD cases, and I don't keep receipts*.- karimoh

MP3 vs Uncompressed
Quick question: would me noticing a 'crackling' sound in many 160kb/s CBR MP3's be me hearing artifacting? As a guy who believes in 20 dollar IC's I don't think this is placebo, and it happened when I was just listening to a few MP3 a minute ago.- karimoh

MP3 vs Uncompressed
I just put tw versions of Kansas-Dust In The Wind on a playlist, one at 128 and one ripped to FLAC. I closed my eyes, pressed next, and then guessed that the 128kb/s was the FLAC. I really believe in the plecebo effect. (I mean I believe that other people are effected by the placebo effect)...- karimoh

iPod 5g 60/80gb battery life
I understand that the larger 5g iPods are supposed to have 20 hour battery life. Can any owners report on this? What kind of life would I get playing FLAC's? I want a DAP and battery life is very important to me.- karimoh

Soundblaster Audigy
I'm thinking of buying a Soundblaster EXTIGY to get standalone DD encoding for my analog speakers and xbox360. My question is: if I use digital input for 360 and coax input from computer, would I be able to switch between these or would I have to unplug one of them to use the other? The same...- karimoh

HD 595 comfort?
I recently received my HD595's and have been loving them. I've been listening to a ton of porcupine tree. I find the ear part of the cans to be extremely comfortable, no problem there, but the top of my head starts to feel very uncomfotable after a while. I experienced this with some old...- karimoh
