I love the Shures but I don't really know any better. I would sometimes like to have a little more convenience because they are a drag to remove constantly but would something like the HD800S sound that much better to make it a worthwhile spend?- jdw101

Just received mine, I am not much of an audiophile but I decided to get a pair. I had the ER4P's (well still do) and they just never really impressed me that much. I have to say that with just my LG v20 and my Realtek 1150 the first few hours have been amazing. Can't wait to start getting...- jdw101
