I think hearing many phones to amp combinations can bring nirvana.   Just it's sepultura bringing territory now to me. What I want to say matching phones to amp matters a lot, but it's impossible route to take and I love those mods which I found along the way. All the best!

Interesting thing about this mod is ... while with stock phones not that really big difference between Fiio X3II and Ifi Ican micro amp (more refined though), after mod there's significantly wider space with amp compared to Fiio, cannot really explain why, something mysterious going on here ...

Have to say this small mod has some impact, wow :) Just took first thing which could fit in there, so will play around bit more but it definitely adds some sparkle/air.

It's true that I don't hear anything wrong with STP or Temple of the dog (sounds really sweet) ... while Alice in Chains could be a tiny bit better, but still not so off as Bush, so it indeed might be related to masters, I'll try to check some other release if there's any.
