Philips Fidelio L4 and T2 - Coming Soon
BTW, Fidelio L4 and T2 are available on Amazon UK for £299 and £249 respectively. Anyone wants to give them a shot? Anyway, Philips/TPV really has to work on their time-to-market: these things were announced in February 2023, they're basically already a year old now that they just came out the...- matteventu

Bowers & Wilkins PX Noise-Cancelling Over-ears
To obtain the best "hi-fi" audio quality (i.e. higher fidelity), the best way to use the PX is via USB-C. Use of the 3.5mm input is the least recommended use, as it is the least hifi one. That said, the concept of "higher quality" is mostly subjective so it's even possible that you'll find a...- matteventu

Why would you use them with an iPod? They're digital headphones, they have an internal DAC that runs at all times.- matteventu

Mark Levinson № 5909 headphone
App has indeed been updated yesterday (29th Sept) to version 0.1.1 and re-flagged as compatible with Android 13 on Play Store. Ironic to hear @ddlo saying it no longer works and once reverted back to 0.1.0 it works fine again 😁- matteventu

Bowers & Wilkins PX7 noise-cancelling over ear headphones
There's no added 3.5mm jack o Px7 S2e, just like on Px7 S2 and Px8. You can use a 3.5mm source via the USB-C input though, with the included cable, while the headphones are powered on (again, just like Px7 S2 and Px8).- matteventu

Mark Levinson № 5909 headphone
That response from Harman got me curious, as it shows incompatible with all of my Android devices, not just those on Android 13 and newe. Edit: actually! On devices with Android 10 if still shows as available! Odd, ad previously I'm 100% sure it dod show as available/compatible also on those...- matteventu

Bowers & Wilkins PX7 noise-cancelling over ear headphones
I must say, this really concerns me. According to the specs sheet on their website, they're 100% identical to Px7 S2 (which by the way are now on sale for £199 on the B&O website), so why relaunch them? I fear they've discovered an actual issue with the original Px7 S2 that they now have...- matteventu

Mark Levinson № 5909 headphone
It's very odd that you can't pair the headphones to your devices, that should work regardless of firmware version and of app being installed or not. If they don't connect, I'd assume they have a hardware fault. Anyway, the app was available on the Play Store a few days ago when I last checked...- matteventu

Yup same, ended up using them just for calls (good mic quality and very comfortable to wear), but because for me they were too warm for music 🤣- matteventu

They're using the wrong cable. Unlike common USB-C to USB-C cables, Apple's Lightning to USB-C cables don't support USB host mode on the Lightning end. You need to use a dedicated Lightning to USB-C host cable (such as FiiO LT-LT1/3/4), or a normal USB-A to USB-C cable connected to an iPhone...- matteventu

Sennheiser Momentum 3 Wireless - The Official Thread
I don't know whether the M3 ones are full leather or not, but I can confidently tell you that between M2 Wireless, M3 Wireless and M4 Wireless, the build quality of the headphones has tremendously gone down. M2 were excellent in terms of build quality, M3 are much inferior to M2 in that regard...- matteventu

It's close. I'd personally but a pair if it was available here in Europe new for that price! Not to mention build quality, H9 3rd Gen are amazing. Momentum 4 build quality is just mediocre.- matteventu

B&O had gone down the same path unfortunately... Older headphones with stitched headband never had such issues, newer ones (from H95 onwards) have the headband padding cover folder in and glued, and guess what? There's already several reports of the exact same issue happening...- matteventu

NEW Bang & Olufsen Beoplay H95 ANC Headphones - Reviews & Impressions
That's expected behaviour and is due to a limit in Qualcomm chips used. Out of all their Bluetooth chips in the current lineup, those for "on head" headphones with aptX Adaptive support are able to fallback on standard aptX or aptX HD if the source device doesn't support (or has disabled...- matteventu

Same, I hate these things haha like LEDs turning from green to amber/yellow to red to indicate the battery status... Unless it's a huge ass LED with a clear bright screen-like red/yellow/green, then the LED will always look the same to me 🤣- matteventu

Yes BT-W5 is also compatible with aptX Adaptive (BT-W4 only supports aptX Adaptive at 48kHz/24bit, while BT-W5 also supports a more recent profile of aptX Adaptive at 96kHz/24bit). And in addition to what BT-W4 does, BT-W5 also allows to manually force what mode to run aptX Adaptive in, such as...- matteventu

Very interesting, it's the first time I see this happening on a Beoplay H7/8/9/9i/9 3rd Gen (which all basically have the same headband design). Unfortunately with newer headphones with new style headband design (H95, HX, Portal) there are already several cases of this happening, really not...- matteventu
