Lamim, another set of cans you might want to check out are the Logitech UE 6000's which are really Ultimate Ear 6000s. They're over-ear cans with a built-in DAC/AMP. Without the amp they're very neutral. However, with the dac/amp turned on everything is extended including the bass. I think these...- Patrick Mullins

Anything better than the B&W P7 for $400?
PinkyPowers, thanks for taking the time to respond. The Oppo PM-3s were in the running until I read a few reviews that said they were light on bass. Also, wouldn't I need an amp to drive them? Right now I'm using an Apogee Groove with my MacBook Pro and love it. Also, I'll check out the Meze 99...- Patrick Mullins
