    Beats Studio3

Although I haven't tested the Studio 3(I'm really curious how they compare to Studio 2), I have had the Studio 2 for more than one year and the MDR-1A for nearly 10 months, and I can say the following, contrary to most people's expectations: The Studio 2 has definitely more detail, better...

Have you tested the Studio Wireless?

    Why the Beats Hate?

That's completely false.   First of all, there's no such thing as "Beats are" ... one way... or another. They produce a variety of headphones, each of them with different characteristics.   Second, they do have not-so-bassy headphones that work well with classical music as well as other...

    Why the Beats Hate?

I've had them for about 4 months, they're perfectly fine. It's true that the earpads are likely to come apart sooner or later, but they're relatively easily replaceable, as is the headband(which on the other hand feels pretty sturdy - you'd have to abuse it quite a bit to break it, or at least...

    Why the Beats Hate?

I'm not so sure about that: https://www.cnet.com/news/beats-wont-have-a-new-studio-wireless-headphone-in-2016/   You should test the Studio 2, it won't hurt.

    Why the Beats Hate?

Oh really? How many have you bought so far?   And btw., you were asking me why the Beats are discounted... le me respond with another question: why is there such a discrepancy between the Sennheiser site that has the reccommended prices and amazon which offer pretty big discounts... examlple...

    Why the Beats Hate?

How do you know what Beats uses? There was a pathetic attempt by some idiot blogger to prove that they use cheap parts, but it turned out he had used a fake pair.    Not that using OEM drivers is something necessarily bad.      Why do you keep having strong opinions about something you...

    Why the Beats Hate?

Totally false, M50x is inferior to Studio 2 in every possible aspect in terms of sound (details, instrument separation, samd)

    Why the Beats Hate?

You don't have to take it literally. The suggestion is that they're quite a bit better than the solo 2.    Have you ever thought of auditioning the Studio 2 instead of contradicting my posts?

    Why the Beats Hate?

Even at 139 they're a very good deal.    A few opinions on Studio 2 vs Solo 2(from macrumors)'   #4  The studios, imo sound way better than the solo 2.  [...] http://forums.macrumors.com/threads/beats-solo-2-wireless-or-studio-wireless.1950985/     Quote: Well... that's...

    Why the Beats Hate?

Extremely unlikely. Unfortunately the overwhelming majority of those who love to bash Beats, never tested the Studio 2.    I have owned CAL for about 2 years and tested the M50x. Neither is a good alternative to the Studio 2(which has better details, soundstage, etc). I haven't heard the...

    Why the Beats Hate?

Yes, NC is always on, but it's not much of a problem.    Most of those cans need amping, some of them serious amping - which is another cost to consider, as most people don't have a headphone amp.    Denon D600 are a lot more expensive in Europe(usually >300 eur) but $150 seems a bit...

    Why the Beats Hate?

Because it's IMPOSSIBLE to claim that they sound worse(provided that you have good hearing) than headphones like M50x or MDR-1A, which have a pretty good "reputation" among audiophiles.

You "think" ... but I can bet real money you haven't heard the Studio 2.

    Why the Beats Hate?

Choosing to judge the best of current Beats headphones on a 5 year old low end headphone is like drawing conclusions about Sennheiser HD600 based on auditions of HD201.

    Why the Beats Hate?

You should try the Studio 2, they're better than Solo 2 or any other Beats headphone.

    Why the Beats Hate?

Have you tested them? What do you find wrong with the highs? No, Studio 2 don't have great bass. That's Studio 1.    Have you tested them eventually?

    Why the Beats Hate?

Have you tested the Studio 2(NOT the Solo 2)? Do that with some quality tracks then come back and tell us your opinion.

    Why the Beats Hate?

I don't know why this happens, but lots of people have very strong opinions about something they have zero experience with, tend to talk about Beats as if they make only one headphone(how about saying that sennheiser are crap because you tested or heard of others testing the HD201)   You...

    Why the Beats Hate?

While the build quality isn't exactly stellar, amazon comments aren't the best source of objective information on Beats because there are lots of fakes on amazon (sold by third parties)

Oppo PM-3 : The Portable Planar - Impressions

Is there any of you who tried the PM-3 paired with Oppo-HA1 to tell us how it sounds as compared to lesser DAC/Amps or directly to phones like Iphone/galaxy S?

Oppo PM-3 : The Portable Planar - Impressions

I tested them about a month ago and I was extremely impressed with them. One thing that surprised me was that they had very good, deep bass, as opposed to what I had read in some reviews. They were paired with Oppo HA-1 and unfortunately I forgot to test them directly with the phone, without any...

    Sennheiser HD 600 Impressions Thread

Maybe you should try out the Studio 2 and find the answer yourself. Make sure you use some quality tracks.   Although I auditioned the HD600 I'm not yet sure they're (much) better than Studio 2 in terms of details (I know they're different, open back vs. closed, but they can be compared to a...

    Sennheiser HD 600 Impressions Thread

No real audiophile here... previous experience with only closed HP: CAL, M50, MDR-1A, Studio 2   I have recently tested HD 600 (first open can I tried) and Oppo PM-3 both amped by Oppo HA-1 with a variety of tracks. I currently own a paird of Beats Studio 2.0 wired(don't laugh if you haven't...
