Does anyone have any idea which IEM in the Final lineup sounds most like the E5000 yet is easier to drive?

Quick update: just paired my E5000 with the Dragonfly Red. Simply put the pairing adds height and presence to the highs while thinning out the bass. I find this welcoming and makes the overall sound more balanced and appropriate to the recording. I highly recommend this pairing.

I wonder if I got a defective pair then.. I did pick mine up for $75 used (came without the packaging, cable and only 1 pair of ear-tips). Or maybe I'm blowing my ears out by listening too loud.

Yes, and I think it matters how the track that I’m listening to is mastered. That effects the amount of volume I want.

One thing I don’t like about the xm3 is that it needs quite a bit more power to get volumes loud enough for my preferences, especially when jamming out. I don’t have this issue at all with the AirPod Pro.

I just bought both the AirPods Pro and Sony WF-1000xm3 and boy do they sound totally different from one another. The AirPods Pro are mid-centric and it’s a very in-your-head type of experience. The comfort is simply amazing for my smallish ears. I can see myself using these for working out for...

Out of all the headphones I’ve owned (check my profile if your interested) the Sony MDR-1AM2 remains. It’s comfort, convenience and that it is easily powered by my cell phone makes it too hard to beat.

I'm running it out of my iPhone 11 and it sounds great, but it's less warm than with my SR15.

Anyone else use the 1AM2 as their daily driver? :)

I'd have to agree with what's been said.. the Vega looks great with that white color.

What I'm curious about is which one, the Vega or Dorado, sounds closest to the Cascade... or am I really just missing the point and should be looking at the Legend X?

It sounds like what you are experiencing is normal, and also, the fit of the Diana headphones is supposed to be a bit loose. That's the way it was intended with the design. However, has anyone heard anything more about the closed-back Diana? Those might truly be my end-game headphones. :)
