Solution?  Should I just try and electric tape everything off at those points? I'd rather have this last a while than think about aesthetics...I thought about mildly trying to heat/bake/something warm-uppy those points too to get the casings to fuse better...

So I found out that it is oxidation, but that does't really affect the sound.  Technically it IS Rusting/Corrosion, but at such a small level (molecular!), that it wouldn't even be perceptible to canines...    

Amps/Dac suggestions?   I have heard about Project Ember, Asgard, Vali or Lyr, and even a suggestion of one of the Hifiman models? Read that the last one can tame the highs of the He-4 and 5LE pretty well and makes them smooth(er). Apparently the 500 doesn't really need amping as much,  but...

I have a pair of these but it seems the bass is really lacking... I usually test Method Man - Tical (1st track) as a baseline for IEMS because it has punch parts and spreadout reverberating type bass.  I could barely hear it through the BA200's.   I got it as a set with the BA100 (now lost)...
