Sound Rhyme impression thread
It depends on the source - I'm using DX320 and can't tell that female vocals on DTE900 are thick (rather big) or untransparent. On the other hand, the lushness of DTE900 can be an obstacle for someone who seeks vocals as a dominant part of music.- Sybir

Sound Rhyme impression thread
Guys, idk - this question keeps haunting me: should I upgrade the DTE900's cable to, let's say, Hakugei Bifrost or something from Effect Audio catalogue? I've read @Leonarfd review of Cadmus/Ares/Eros set from Effect Audio and I recall that for rock/metal music the best choice from this set...- Sybir

Yup, it's driver flex - I experienced the same in my set of AQ7 Pro. I consider it to be a minor con.- Sybir

This review aligns with my conclusions regarding the DTE900. As a (mostly) metal listener I can give it a recommendation if you're looking for a all-rounder that can handle stronger sounds well. The cable is good enough (though I'm still thinking about switching to Hakugei Bifrost).- Sybir

Thick and lush sound is something that I crave for, but Monarch Mk3 is also on my to-buy-list, therefore I'm possibly interested in such elaborated comparison. ;)- Sybir

@Jakha that's a pretty one set. I'll publish some photos of mine when I receive it (even though I got a few made by Sound Rhyme crew). A clash between DTE900 and Monarch Mk3? I'm interested in the outcome of this encounter then.- Sybir

It's the same palette I received - but if you want a pattern from previous templets, the SR crew is ready to cooperate.- Sybir

Out of the box they're pretty good, with nice bass and subbass expression. I'll try to write more in a few days, but I'm affraid that it won't shed any new light on the subject due to this review by @Zerstorer_GOhren...- Sybir
