I have them and still love them. I went through many different headphones over the years but kept coming back to this set of headphones. They look great and sound event better.

I drove my 800S with this in the past, and loved it. I use my LF339 to drive any headphone, so clear.

I find no harshness at all with the Z1R. I have recently purchased the Schiit Loki to allow tweaking with headphones depending on source music and it is a great and cheap way to fine-tune your headphones.

I have just received a used pair of HP-3's today. What I did purchase recently that helps on headphones is the Schiit Loki. It really helps open up sound where there are gaps, depending on your hearing and taste.

I had the Clear and sold it after getting the Z1R. It was too fatiguing. The Z1R is just a relaxing set of headphones, very clear, nice bass, just an overall perfect set of headphones.

I currently use the Z1R with both the Little Dot MKVI+ and the LaFigaro 339, sounds amazing on both of those units.

I think the Z1R sounds amazing and also think I reached the endgame (pause for laughter because I have said that 10 times before!). My only issue is the stock cable, it drives me nuts. Anyone have a recommendation for a good after market cable?

When I purchased my Clears used, I heard them on a FiiO Q5 and they sounded amazing.

The LCD2C works best with some power. I drive it well with my tube amps Little Dot MKVI+ and La Figaro 339, but I did find the Massdrop x Cavalli Liquid Carbon X drove it well for little cost. I am about to grab an Aune X7S that would have power to drive as well, on a budget.

I love the unit, simple design, great sound. I got it to drive my LCD2C, and with the gain on high, they sound amazing. I have also been using it to drive my Focal Elear, now Focal Clear. I use my Astell&Kern AK300 as an input and I am so happy with how this amp drives all of my headphones.

The Focal Clear is an amazing headphone. I recently sold my HD800S to make the clear my prime, and my LCD2C as my second. Both seem to fit the mood and music that I would listen to. I did also buy a chair to allow me to sit back and the weight of the headhones with both units are not an issue.

I use the Massdrop x Alex Cavalli Liquid Carbon X, with gain on high and they make the LCD2C sound great.
