My 4th Gen Imod stopped playing songs yesterday. It was working fine when I pushed the rewind button to start the song to which I was listening at its begining - now it just scolls through all the song titles. The songs to do not play. Has anyone ever encountered this problem?

I have attempted to rip many cd's into Itunes on my windows computer and ultimatley on to my ipod, but all that is "imported" to Itunes are track names. The underlying song is not "imported." I contacted Apple about this, but I found the help desk less than helpful on this issue. The help desk's...
