Since I've had my player for about 1 wk now. Little trial and error that has really improved my battery life. 1. Disabled Mail, Calendar and notifications. Basically, any programs that will require to check online for updates. 2. Dim my screen brightness. Battery life has greatly improved.

Did you do the Sync? In the onkyo player. Setting --> Sync Now. Once it synced, all your music will be seen by the stock player.

Just received my DP-X1. Best DAP that I've owned. Been using it for about 1wk now. Really impressed. About the hiss. Could it be those users are using headphones that are less than 16ohms? I have heard if using low impedance headphones will cause noticeable hiss. Mine are 16ohms and dead silent.. :D

Need to try the E10s with a Fiio A3 headphone amp. Just gotta say "WOW", really opened up the sound stage. With the headphone amp, they are 90% as good as my Audio‑Technica ATH M50X. Very impressed with these little headphones for the price.

Just wanted to share, just received my Fiio A3 amplifier. All I gotta say is wow. Really opened up the sound stage the music is so rich and warm. Clarity and bass tightness has improved. Really recommend a headphone amp with the IHIFI 800.

  My IHIFI 800 does not have any background or buzz noise when the screen is on.

Would the firmware of the IHIFI 800 cause the problem on installing the rockbox? My original firmware is: Es90018_v2.00

Yes, the firmware installer program can see my IHIFI800. I hit the "switch" for loader. Everything is fine. Rockbox is on my formatted to fat32 (128gb card). Installing computer is running Windows 7 on an atom processor. Drivers installed fine.

OK, keep running into a problem.  Followed the instructions perfectly.  I get the following during the image install. INFO:  Test:  Device Started ERROR:  Test Device Fail INFO:  Upgrade End   Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just received my IHIFI 800. Can't wait to not having to convert all my flac files to lower quality flac.

I have both the sound magic e10s and the S4. The sound magic sounds much better than the s4. The bass on the s4 would start popping at higher volume levels. The sound magic offers a warmer sound, strong and tight bass. The sad part is, I prefer my sound magic over my s4.
