Finally got in contact with ak after filing a charge back, surprise surprise.... Anway they offered me a brand new one for my troubles. I am still thinking of selling though. Ill let her go for $2200shipped. Thats a great deal i think.

emailed jimmy moon also iriver ak support email. NOTHING. Facebook, they responded and said email support but offered no assistance.

still hearing nothing from A&K.. regarding the balanced bug... just despicable.   Going to contact the company I bought it from, if they won't help guess I will file a charge back.

hopefully we here some news soon. It seems rather odd indeed that 3 of us reported this all within 24 hours.   I use mainly the 2.5mm balanced port so it's not a HUGE deal. but it is still pretty annoying. I don't have the ak380 amp so I cant use the se output at all :(

seriously, it was fine yesteday, all of a sudden start it up and it's stuck in bal!   reformated it and it's still stuck, 

Mine is also stuck in bal mode! what the hell!?!   How do I fix it
