Official Audio-gd Sparrow thread
I just got a Sparrow version A a couple days ago and it's wonderful. It's my first desktop dac/amp so I don't have anything similar to compare it to. However I find that it pairs nicely with my new 701s. From my limited experience I found that it brings out the clarity of songs and...- aperson

Recommendations to replace stolen headphones
I had some Beyerdynamic DT770 pro 80ohm and a pair of Grado SR125s but I've been robbed. Good thing I had my laptop, audio card, portable amp and Altec Lansing IM716 IEMs on me so all was not lost. But I need a pair of full-size headphones to replace the others. IEMs are nice but I don't...- aperson

University of Waterloo (Ontario, Canada) - mini meet
Hey, this will be my first meet. I'd really like to hear other people's rigs. I'm bringing SR125, Dt770/80, PA2v2 and iM716. Saturday night sounds like a good time. I have no idea where to meet, hopefully an empty classroom will be good enough.- aperson

Carrying the DT770
DT770s feel weird around the neck. You have to adjust the headband just enough so that the bottom of the pads touch each other and the top of the pads lie on your neck slightly. Only thing is that you can't move your head or else it they will touch the phones. So it'll feel like you broke...- aperson

PA2V2 Appreciation thread
Gary's service is impeccable. I exchanged at least 3 emails before buying the amp and he replied within 10 minutes each time. He was very helpful with my first Paypal purchase. Built very sturdy to survive life as a portable amp. Internal recharging is a great feature and the most useful for...- aperson

Can you recommend me some earphones please?
Just so you know, the second type (iems) won't hit your eardrum. Also, iems have good isolation so you can listen at low volumes and still be able to hear it clearly. I don't know any good earbuds but have you considered some behind the neck headphones that lie on your ear?- aperson

I don't have shures but I almost missed my train stop when using my iM716s. Half because of the iems, half since I was sleeping. Just remember, when you close your ears, open your eyes.- aperson

BeyerDynamic owners unite...
Hello team Beyer. I've been using 770/80s for a week now and I must say they have amazing bass extention. I used to like the *doof doof doof* bass but not so much now. The bass of the 770s is so much better, even at low volumes. These Beyers sound really good with a half-decent amp...- aperson
