Schiit Asgard 3 - Impressions Thread

Now I use Hugo1 direct to LCD3-Fazor, Good Synergy, great for my ears, but still wonder Hugo maybe doesn't have enough power to maximize LCD3. Does Asgard3 will be a good match with my rig? Thanks.

Why LCD series can't reduce its weight?

Now, I use HE560, too. I think HEX is a better choice to upgrade if you still like HE560 sound. Compare to 560 the 1,000 has more neutral sound, The mid is warmer and thicker, The Bass is better both quality and quantity, Headstage is open wider with good imaging. LCD3 is great if you want to...

Why LCD series can't reduce its weight?

IMO, HE1000 is more open sound. Neutral tone. Great smooth treble with good bass. LCD3 is warmer and thicker sound. The Bass has more power. I prefer HEX.

Why LCD series can't reduce its weight?

But if we negligent drop our HP on the desk and softly hit with something like HP Amp and the grill is bending easily. I think 4,000 USD HP must reasonably strong.

Why LCD series can't reduce its weight?

Another member said "If Audeze change the grill from steel to Aluminium it'll be much lighter but not so strong, I think. If Taitanium, I don't want to think about the bloody price. If Audeze change its cup from wood block to veneer like Hifiman it'll look downgrade them self. I think Audeze...

The heaviest part of driver is magnets. It have to use many magnets...

Why LCD series can't reduce its weight?

I Wonder, why Hifiman can do a light weight headphones but Audeze can't. both use same kind of driver "Planar Magnetic". However, LCD series look much better in built quality and materials over the HE series but the "weight problem" is main issue for many user that need some improvement. I...

Audeze LCD-2C Classic - Impressions Thread

If "all most of the weight comes from the magnets and drivers". Why HE560 weight only 375 grams?

Audeze LCD-2C Classic - Impressions Thread

IMO, HD650 and LCD2 is warm. HD800 is bright. For me closely to "Neutral" headphone is HE1000.

How different of this 2 Amperex "Orange Globe"?

Thanks again. I need some warm and thickness for my rig, too. Now I use 70's  Voskhod 6n1p-ev that's good adding warm tone  to my rig but I usually heard about how great Orange Globe and Grey  Shield Voskhod are. So I am interesting in this 2 tube.

May be the Asgard is warm tone (Warmer than LYR stock tube) and not matching with warm HP like LCD-X.

Battle of the Modern Planars: LCD-X vs PM-1 vs HE-560

Great Review. I have HE560 drive by LYR, very great can good soundstage, great detail, neutral but a little bit bright to me. One thing that I think LCD-X better is Bass. So I change the stock tube "JJ E88CC" to "70's Voskhod 6n1p-ev" then my rig goes warmer, Bass is better both quality &...
