V6 mini
Thanks Lou, Yes, I can tell when I first turned it on there was a big difference. I think for the small additional cost for the booster it's worth it, whether you use it or not it's nice to have the extra power when you want it. I also have a maxed out JTM Meta42 w/crossfeed, I will...- GaryL

V6 mini
I just received my V6 plus booster w/crossfeed & blue LED today. My first impression before burn in.....there's a noticeable improvement in sound stage and more volume than my V5 with about 500 hours on it. I going to let it burn in for a few days and I will report back. Gary- GaryL

I'm sorry I misunderstood your question. I have never used my line out or headphone out on my main system, so I can't compare it.- GaryL

Supermini v5, Creek OBH-11, Porta Corda - Advice?
When using my SuperMini I only use the line out on my pcdp. The headphone out does not sound as clean and should only be used for your headphones. That's a problem with a lot of the newer model pcdp's they don't have a line out. That is another reason the older pcdp's are so popular, besides...- GaryL

ksc-35 mod and imressions.
My KSC-35 foam pads have deteriorated due to age and usage. I have found RadioShack P/N: 33-377 Foam Pad to be a great replacement pad, with no modification needed.- GaryL

I just received my JMT built Maxed Out Meta42 w/xfeed about a week ago and it sounds fantastic. I also have my SuperMini and it also sounds very good, It's a matter of how much you want to spend and how your going to use it. I take my SuperMini to work with me and listen to my pcdp or...- GaryL

Ety ER-4P... Which Amp?
I have a SuperMini v5 which has the converter built into to the amp and using my ER4P's sound very good. There's lots of volume and I think if portability is what your looking for, it's the only way to go IMO.- GaryL

Supermini v5, Creek OBH-11, Porta Corda - Advice?
I can tell you my SuperMini v5 plugged in to the line out of my Denon DCP-100 pcdp, using my Senn HD 600 sounds very good considering the price and size. Again I don't think you can go wrong getting a SuperMini. Also I have bought several modded radio's from Xin at Fixup and have E-mailed...- GaryL

Denon DCP-150
Hi Yang, I noticed you decided to keep the DCP-100 and D-303, which tells me you must be pleased with the sound of both of those players as well. I also have 2 DCP-100's and 2 D-303's and think their sound is one of the best for PCDP's. I am also currently in the hunt for a DCP-150. My...- GaryL

Yes, the booster is optional. You can leave it off or snap it on. I use a velco strap to attach the booster to the amp.- GaryL

BEST SOUNDING OP-AMP FOR META42
Hi puppyslugg, The one I am considering is AC powered. Do you think the person that I'm considering purchasing from misstated what op-amp it is? He said AD823 in his for sale thread, maybe he ment AD843? Is there such a thing as an op-amp AD823? Thanks for you help. Gary- GaryL

LUCKY DAY! WAITING FOR MY DENON DCP-150
Hi Hirsch, I hope it's in good operating condition so you get a good sample of what it sounds like. It's going to be interesting to hear what you have to say about the sound of the DCP-150 compared to all the other PCDP's you've heard in the past. I don't know what you mean when you...- GaryL
