not according to this: http://wiki.hydrogenaudio.org/index.php?title=LAME#Technical_information   the recommended switch "-V 0" does not apply a low pass filter   it's engineered by the developers to be virtually transparent... personally, i can't hear a difference, though i don't doubt...

hhhmmm.... interested in one of these....   not much specs on the AMP portion though... what's the output impedance on the headphone out?

i haven't tried the demo, but is the delay that noticeable?

about time people like oaklandrkg come out and post... i reek when i hear people talking about studio monitors being too clinical and analytic .. of course that applies to solid state vs tube amps

some of the nforce onboard sound needs the oem realtek driver for digital to work (i know my nForce4 ultra does...)
