Monolith M1060C Closed Back Planar Headphones impressions
I have been wanting a really "nice" pair of headphones for the office as 90% of my music listening is at my work office. I don't have the money to spend £600+ on any of the end game stuff, so the 1060c seemed like the ideal in-between of something like a 598CS and the mid range closed Fostex...- stoke1863

Little Dot Tube Amps: Vacuum Tube Rolling Guide
ok i got an issue, id say every 10-30 mins i get an audible pop (from both channels i think) i switched back to Stock power tubes and they are less frequent but they still happen, its literally one pop and thats it for 30 minutes. Any ideas what the issue may be?- stoke1863

Little Dot Tube Amps: Vacuum Tube Rolling Guide
Wondering if someone could help. Got a used MKII with 6N6P+6J1P-EV tubes. I can barely tell a difference when comparing the sound vs my Solid State amp also not much difference with my ears to the stock tubes. What would be best combo for a more tubey sound? Or are my ears just broken?- stoke1863

Use E10K as Dac? or another Budget DAC for Little Dot MkII
Hi Guys, Just purchased a used Little Dot MkII with spare russian 6N6P+6J1P-EV tubes to power my HD600. I have a Fiio E10K which i could use a DAC using its line out. Would this be a good option for someone on a budget? Or do you think i will get noticeable improvement from another...- stoke1863

I tied them across so they are slightly tighter on my head as by default they slip down my head. I emailed AKG my photos and they said they are genuine and they use a different serial code for Slovakia headphones- stoke1863

I see 0 evidence that fakes even exist of this model, i was purely stating that the production hasn't moved back to Austria as my Made in Austria pair are not new and are probably old.- stoke1863

DT770 or ATH-MS7R
So i got the MSR7 today, I also ordered the beyers and will send back the one i dont want. I pretty much immediately took to them, always a good sign if they sound right straight away. LOVE the MSR they sound so sharp and are no where near sibilant or harsh to my ears. Absolutely love...- stoke1863

DT770 or ATH-MS7R
Ok, so i need a closed headphone, that doesn't cost too much. and ive narrowed it down to these two. DT770 80Ohm - £64 (£84 Amazon warehouse , £20 credit) ATH-MSR7 - £119 (£144 - £20 amazon credit - £5 promotional credit) So the MSR7 is almost 2x the price but they are still both...- stoke1863
