ok i got an issue, id say every 10-30 mins i get an audible pop (from both channels i think) i switched back to Stock power tubes and they are less frequent but they still happen, its literally one pop and thats it for 30 minutes.   Any ideas what the issue may be?

I have to backtrack on this, I didnt allow my ears to adjust to the tubes, Just swapped back after many hours to stock and the Russian tubes are much much much better vs stock tubes.

Wondering if someone could help.   Got a used MKII with 6N6P+6J1P-EV tubes.   I can barely tell a difference when comparing the sound vs my Solid State amp also not much difference with my ears to the stock tubes.   What would be best combo for a more tubey sound? Or are my ears just broken?

I tied them across so they are slightly tighter on my head as by default they slip down my head. I emailed AKG my photos and they said they are genuine and they use a different serial code for Slovakia headphones

Got this headphone this week, stunning for my needs, Nice bright sound, with great mids and lots of sharp details. Headphones are piece of art as well so nice!   These are such an underated headphone

I see 0 evidence that fakes even exist of this model, i was purely stating that the production hasn't moved back to Austria as my Made in Austria pair are not new and are probably old.

All the K AKG have a certain signature sound and its different than the Beyers, maybe try the K612?
