Most of the work I've seen by MAR is sloppy. Maybe you got lucky though and Will did a nice job on your piece. But without question Carlo does much nicer work, with better soldering, better parts throughout the whole circuit rather than just changing caps, and his prices are much more reasonable.

I've got an extremely modded Melos SHA Gold Reference, done my Headfi member, Carlo, that I'm sure you guys would really enjoy. I have no headphones as I'm using my Melos as a linestage but I would love to have people listen to it with some good cans.

I have to agree with the Melos/Bryston combination. I was using my SHA Gold Reference with 7B-ST monoblocks for over four years. The Brystons have found a new home but I've still got the Melos and now I'm using it with a Sonic Frontiers Power 2. Sounds darn good with the P2 as well.
