Not a suggestion of what to get but what not to get is the Shure SRH940s. They did the same thing to me that those Sennheiser did.

I just picked up a cheap pair of skull candy's when my good IEMs broke. I have been using those skull candy's for 6 months 4X/week at the gym. The sound is better than a typical apple earbud or equivalent but still not very good but they are very rugged for the price.  

Just joined due to my dad informing me that this was the best online community for headphones. I just wanted to introduce myself. I really do love headphones however, I am a poor college kid and they are not always in my budget :). I am excited to share info and knowledge with everyone!   Raves
