I used to own a Ming-Da MC-66 amplifier, and it was the most bass-heavy amp that i've tried on the Grado 325i, if that´s what you want.

How is the noise floor on the Stax SRM-252S with SR-207 or L300 ? and are there other factors that can affect noise floor in a system?   I´m trying to find a system that is really quiet

I have read numerous times, that people take out their 30+ year old Stax headphones, to compare them to other equipment. I think Stax will outlast everything else you own.
