Just got an email from Sam regarding my package: he received my E500's on August 21st and my remold is being done. Shipping from the Netherlands took about two weeks. Hope to have them back in a couple of weeks, after which I will post some images.

The stock foams from Shure are indeed PVC foamies. I agree with the findings of Derek, these polyurethane foams give more bass to the earphones. In my case, with the E4G's, that's a good thing, because they do not have a powerfull bass (the bass is good enough, just not very powerfull)...
