Chord Electronics - Hugo 2 - The Official Thread
My Hugo2 came back from hospital today and all fixed. Chord were excellent, I sent it on Monday and received it back today (I live in the UK). They replaced the USB chip and asked if I wanted the batteries replaced too as they were the original ones in the unit, which I did. All in all it was...- MikeJSmith

Chord Electronics - Hugo 2 - The Official Thread
Makes sense, that was my next plan . I was just hoping to not be the first with this issue :relaxed: Ha, yes that's the kind of thing I would do! But I've double checked and used the remote to confirm. Looks like I'll need to contact Chord directly.- MikeJSmith

Chord Electronics - Hugo 2 - The Official Thread
All of a sudden my Hugo 2 isnt working on USB. The computer will recognise it, and will start playing eg on youtube or a music player, but no music is coming through. If I disconnect the USB cable, it crashes my computer. It will work fine through bluetooth; havent tried optical. I've tried my...- MikeJSmith

Why does my USB audio not work after restarting from sleep mode
Thanks all for the suggestions, but they've not made any difference :sob: Actually, one difference seems to be that just by selecting another playback device (HDMI audio) from the toolbar and then reselecting the Hugo, the audio works again. This wasn't happening before so at least that's...- MikeJSmith

Why does my USB audio not work after restarting from sleep mode
Thanks for replying. It would be more annoying to turn off every time I think, maybe I’ll just have to live with it for now.- MikeJSmith

Why does my USB audio not work after restarting from sleep mode
Hi All, I have Chord Hugo 2 hooked up by USB to my Windows 10 PC. All works very well, until I wake the computer from sleep, after which there is no audio unless I either turn off / on the Hugo or disable / enable it in the sound settings. This happens regardless of what I am listening to -...- MikeJSmith

Fostex TH900 MkII
Personally I find them quite leaky; I’ve not got much to compare it against so can only go on what I expected a closed back to be like and tests at hifi shows. They fit loosely, not much clamping pressure (see above posts!) so I think that’s why. In use, I don’t find it an issue but I only use...- MikeJSmith

Fostex TH900 MkII
No, I didn’t buy the headband. I looked online and thought I’d try a low tech version and just wrapped some towelling round the headband first. It made no difference, so I don’t think the ZMF headband will have the effect I’m looking for. The ear pads are probably a better option, but I heard...- MikeJSmith

Chord Electronics - Hugo 2 - The Official Thread
This, kind of - the Hugo 2 doesnt appear to be disconnected it just doesn't work after the computer wakes from sleep mode. After waking after sleep, the computer says the chord is connected, enabled and working properly. If I go to sound settings the master volume line is going up and down so...- MikeJSmith

Chord Electronics - Hugo 2 - The Official Thread
I'm having issues with using my Hugo 2 via USB on my Windows 10 Computer. Quite often (perhaps after every time the computer goes to sleep), there is no sound coming from the Hugo and whatever app I am using to play music hangs. I've tried Groove Music, WMP, and some 3rd party ones. Also...- MikeJSmith

Fostex TH900 MkII
Thanks for the suggestions. I've already tried bending the headband as much as I feel comfortable with. I think another pad may be the best option, although I can test the pad option by using something else first I guess. Cheers.- MikeJSmith

Not sure where to post this, but thought someone may be interested. My iBasso DX80 battery had pretty much failed. It never got to 100% charged, would quickly lose charge even when turned off and then would drain quickly in use. I decided to try to replace it myself as my unit is out of...- MikeJSmith

in-ears for office use
Hi All, Looking for some decent in-ears that will be used in an open plan office. I sit with my team and need to be able to get them in/out of my ears without it being a long drawn out affair of using either custom iem's or squishing down foam tips until I get the perfect fit. These aren't...- MikeJSmith

Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!
Yeah it’s a tough choice, those look very nice too! I was close to ordering a Wizard but decided to go with a reprint. The reprints won’t match the lookbook exactly, so that’s worth bearing in mind. I’m sure you’ll be happy either way- MikeJSmith
