Philips Fidelio X2?!
Hi everyone, I am here to share something about the official replacement pads for the X2 since I haven't seen any reports about it. I have contacted them and found that they sell the pads through a company called Dutchwest in the UK for 31.99pounds each + 2.95pounds delivery...- limyueshing

The AKG K7XX Massdrop First Edition Thread
I considered getting the Slim as well but I gave it up because I expect I can get better sound quality by compromising the portability that I do not need. So I am looking for a desktop setup that sounds neutral right now. By the way, do u mean magni 2, which is the amp, is supposed to...- limyueshing

The AKG K7XX Massdrop First Edition Thread
I have just bought the k7XX and is currently searching for an amp and dac to drive it. I have read a lot of posts and am leaning towards getting the schiit stack. However, I would like to know how does the schiit stack sound in comparison to some cheaper amp/dac like the Fiio E10k. I am new...- limyueshing

AD900x vs AD700x
Thx for the detailed response Although I do listen to jpop/jrock, I think I'm better off saving money for a better dac/amp now. I'll probably go all-in with the Schiit stack for the sake of future compatibility.- limyueshing

AD900x vs AD700x
Yea I am aware of that and I saw your posts in previous threads about SMSL. For this particular model however, reviews are consistently good, therefore I believe its worth the investment. I am using motherboard audio now and my 99% of my music is 320kbps, I will only be using my K7XX with...- limyueshing

AD900x vs AD700x
I was thinking that the ad series would give me better positional audio. (Off topic question: I'm planning to buy the smsl sd793ii for my k7xx, would it be better to get a straight amp like the magni 2 instead?)- limyueshing

AD900x vs AD700x
I have just started my interest in audio, so my questions might be stupid. AD700x: £75 AD900x: £115 Going to use this for mainly for gaming, any opinions on whether £40 is worth the upgrade? I am also getting the K7XX, should I even bother getting the Audio Technicas? P.S. I...- limyueshing

Schiit Magni 2 Uber for speakers
If I have a pair of desktop speakers and headphones, will I benefit from buying the Uber version? I am using a Logitech Z600 right now, it has a 3.5mm port for audio input and is connected wirelessly to my PC with the USB dongle provided, I would like to know if I can get better sound...- limyueshing

Recommendation: Open back headphones for music and gaming
However it does not have a removable cable, which is not ideal in the long term. I am also concerned about its bass response, I can see there's a significant difference with the Q701 based on their frequency response. I don't think I enjoy a bass emphasized headphone but I still want the...- limyueshing

Recommendation: Open back headphones for music and gaming
Yes they are. The 7xx costs ~£170 including shipping and E10K is selling for ~£60 in amazon UK. But if the AKG headphones and the dac/amp can last for 5+ years, I think I can relax my budget for a bit, although I am a bit concerned about the durability of its elastic head band mechanism.- limyueshing

Recommendation: Open back headphones for music and gaming
The audio techinica AD series will probably give me the most immersive exp on gaming based on what I have researched, but I have not try them yet, so I am not sure if the sound signature and the comfort suit my taste. At the moment, I am attracted to the AKG headphones since I have already tried...- limyueshing
