Dang man, I'm sorry to hear that. Maybe you can get a new one? This is probably the best DAP on the market now with it getting rockbox. (Under $150 USD).

I'm asking this in the most non-rude possible. But how did you brick this thing? I simply drag and dropped the .Rockbox folder on the root of both SD cards and that was it. It loaded up just fine. (after the firmware upgrade of course).

    I was thinking the same. I never thought my XB90's were underpowered until someone mentioning you NEED an amp. I have a FiiO Q1 is that enough power? If not what kind of specs am I looking for in a portable amp? FiiO 17 & 18 are always options

Is it common to use an amp for the XB90? I am currently using just a Xduoo x3, am I missing out?
