Exactly, the smaller Seiun Player won't support it, however the Seiun Pro and PRO X will support Line out through the 3.5MM port (using a software switch). Glassmonkey, I'll upload somepictures shortly! But its a box breakout design.

Hey Walfredo, For the SPDIF, we'll have a 'Mobile Media Adapter' for the Type-C port that will allow you to plug in HDMI, SPDIF (via coax) and USB Type-A (for USB OTG).

Our firmware overrides the default SRC so all third party apps will take advantage of the Seiun Pro/PRO X's ESS DAC! Let me know if you have any other questions!

Hey Ronnel, Right now for the Pro/PRO X we need all the prototypes we have for development.  However we should have enough Seiun Players to distribute next week. We've been contacted by a few Head-Fi'ers already so we'll have some updates for everyone soon!

They are considered Hi-Res for a couple reasons. A. They have a Hi-Res 5-40,000KHz response. B. When submitted to the JAS (the organization that controls the Hi-Res Logo) they were approved as a Hi-Res Product.

Middy, we looked into the coffee maker function, but decided against it because it had too much power-draw. 3 brews & 4 DSD tracks and all of sudden we were down to 15%. :P We're testing out a coffee grinder mode though, we'll keep you updated on our progress.
