Nativ Vita -- Buyers Beware!
I've now had my Vita for near two years, one of the first. No problems at all with build quality, in fact very impressed. Sound is beautiful, a few software connectivity issues but Kevin at the support desk has been first class. I use it as both a Roon endpoint and player in its own right. And...- dougi555

Qobuz Lossless Streaming Service Thread
To be honest, i've been using both now for nearly 2 years, I love the sound from QOBUZ and the more esoteric selection and recommendations, but I still use TIDAL for "Classic" rock and Prog. I'm now in a place where I doubt I could do without either........... BTW, try listening to the new... -
Qobuz Lossless Streaming Service Thread
I found several bugs, but after updating to QOBUZ version 4.0.20 and Android 8.0 all good. Still a few issues playing 24/96 and 24/192 though... -
Qobuz Lossless Streaming Service Thread
Interesting, didn't know that existed. Tried it, works perfectly here on my Mobile. ( Sony Xperia XZ Premium ) -
Qobuz Lossless Streaming Service Thread
Far better selection of music than Tidal, far better suggestions as well. I'm thinking of now dumping Tidal now. -
Qobuz Lossless Streaming Service Thread

Best Smartphone for audiophile Part II (Updated: Jan 2020)
Don't disagree, well I might actually, but I think you'll find the Z1Rs are not BT and are a very revealing 'phone. The 1000x are BT I agree but again are not very forgiving of lo-res output.- dougi555

Best Smartphone for audiophile Part II (Updated: Jan 2020)
So I've been using a Xperia XZ premium with Sony MDR-1000x and Sony MDR-Z1R phones for several months now and love it. My go to for my vinyl rips is my NW-ZX2 I must admit but for travelling to and from work and at work the Xperia is beautiful.......- dougi555

Qobuz Lossless Streaming Service Thread
HI..... I'm running QOBUZ on my ZX2 successfully, its a bit slow, but when it plays its gorgeous. However, I just upgraded to Sublime+ and the 24/96 and 192 hi-res are "impossible to play" so it says...... Very annoying. -
SONY NW-WM1Z / WM1A
Ermmm, I don't think I said it was needed feature..... Only for me it is...... That's a different thing entirely..... In fact, to be honest, what I'm considering is a WM1Z for my vinyl collection to replace the NW-ZX2 I've had for years and an iBasso DX200 for streaming and reviewing.- dougi555

Really..... You're not looking very hard. They have by far the best selection of newly released esoteric electronica..... Between them and Bandcamp. Anyway, for me it's like the modern day equivalent of going to the record store and asking to hear something. Then, if I like it, I'll import it...- dougi555
