Sorry this is nothing to do with user error it's the HA2SE charging from a host device that has a USB C interface including some Android smartphones, it's becoming a major pain for many users.

Hi, is it possible that you could say where you obtained this cable and any part number/item code if available.

Can you clarify that when you used your friends cable and adapter your N3 and HA2SE connected and the HA2SE was not charging or is this the setup that's not working? I use the Shanling L2 cable but this still draws power from the N3. Wish I'd kept my chord mojo.

The adapter needs to be otg but you will probably run into the same issue as I have with the HA2SE charging from the N3 which we were discussing the other day.

I have the HA2SE which I would like to use with my N3 and Shanling M1 but the HA2SE just drains their batteries. Can you expand on your solution or preferably draw a diagra as I don't understand.

You will need to use firmware 1.9.3 and the Mac/Linux option and it should work as a dac. I got it to work with my Nexus 7. I have already flagged this issue in this thread and Paul from ibasso says it will be fixed in the next firmware update.

Tried to use the DX50 with my Nexus 7 but also found I could not select the DAC Linux/Mac option when running 1.9.4. Reverted to 1.9.3 and works fine. I can't understand why ibasso didn't find this when testing their new firmware?
