I ended up backing the Zolo Liberty+. If they ship on time I should have them in October. We'll see.

I'm looking at the Zolo Liberty+. It's not released yet so there aren't any reviews but they "look" like the best truly wireless earphones. People are complaining about the latency but if it's around 200ms like Zolo is advertising, that should be fine.

My tablet is actually an Amazon fire so it's neither. Although my phone is a Samsung so if I went with either it would be Samsung. But the gear iconx are rated under 3 stars and are just about $200. I'm going to do some research into wireless earbuds and see what I can find.

It's not loud at all, it's just irritating after awhile.   I had them plugged into the front ports, I moved them to the back and it's already substantially better. I'm using onboard audio.   With how they are now, I have to be listening for it to hear it.
