Ill also say that the T5P was one of the worst headphones Ive ever heard.

Ive heard many Beyers - honestly the 880 is one of my favorites.

Ill tell you -without a doubt- that the DT990's (only open-back Beyers I own) have significantly more SUB-BASS and quite a bit less MID-BASS than the HD600's (which I also own).

I heard the pm1 and pm3 the other day, fantastic headphones. But yes, rolled off up top and definitely not open sounding.

I did too - sold mine. They do have those liquid mids going for them, but overall I did not like the headphone. It was interesting though..Would like them to release a second.

I actually really like the soundstage on the 600. It isn't artificially large, a good amount of air/space between instruments and fantastic imaging. Just a very natural presentation imo.

I own both. There is no way the amperior seperates instruments more distinctly than the 9500. There is no chance that the amperiors are clearer than the 9500's. heads up potential buyers.

The subbass is a bit boosted relative to the midbass. For sure. The 990 is a leaner sounding hp.

I also very much disagree. One of the main characteristics of the dt990 is how far the bass extends. It's just so fast, you probably just miss it.
