Sigur Ros is pure genius, and I need more like it:
I'm trying to think of the name of a band that my girlfriend played on her radioshow when she couldn't find Sigur Ros in our library. I'm 80% sure she said The Kites, or maybe just Kites.- zombietycho

funny radio shack visit
Another fun thing about big-box shopping is a smart sales person, who gets snooty at you. Like we do :P I told a guy I wanted a DVD player, he seemed a little shocked, since I already knew what I wanted, but he reluctantly grabbed one from the back, then smugly asked me "What made you choose...- zombietycho

How many songs do you put in a playlist in ur ipod?
I don't move songs together like that. I pop albums into playlists, so I can update some playlists and leave others behind. I also make mixtapes from time to time so instead of checking the "Part of compilation" selection, I just use playlists.- zombietycho

Can someone recommend me some Minimal Techno?
The Junior Boys are a favourite of mine, very minimal, but a lot of vocals, not sure if that is what you are going for. A lot like a minimal Postal Service.- zombietycho

Just Listened To Minus The Bear - Menos El Oso, Anyone Able To Recommend Similar Band
You may or may not like "Shawn Hewitt and the National Strike", it's got a more soulful, and almost RnB feel, but is also kind of progressive like Menos El Oso. Google him and you might like what you hear. Menos El Oso is kind of strange because it has some Indie, Emo and Prog elements, which...- zombietycho

Point me in the right direction!
I would go with digital coax or optical, since digital can transmit DTS and Dolby Digital, while RCA L and R can just do plain old stereo. Stereo is still very awesome, but for movies, Dolby and DTS are where it is at. Coax and Optical will also do Stereo very nicely.- zombietycho

Sony PSP for Video?
Video on the PSP looks pretty good so far, I just converted 2 episodes of Clone High and although the program I used didn't convert into 16:9, it looks pretty good considering I converted from 200+ Mbs to about 66- zombietycho

Favorite REM Albums
I really like AftP, I picked it up on DVD-Audio, and I really enjoy the 5.1 dolby mix, but find the Stereo Dolby mix sounds gross. Sadly I cannot get Advanced Resolution Stereo to work on my system I think this album would benefit a lot.- zombietycho

The new album is tight, and a bit more mature than "Old world". Check out Controller.Controller if you like Metric, another good dance hall punk Canadian girl rock.- zombietycho

Does the new iPod require you to flish the cache? Sorry about your loss, I would take an iPod out of a bathroom, but just to report it found to the police. I wouldn't keep it but I would take it so no unsavouries would steal it.- zombietycho

My Chemical Romance
Pretty good band considering how they shred some peppy pop songs. Pop is really annoying for a lot of people, so when someone does a dark power pop act, it kills a lot of people who expect Dimmu Borgir. Not a huge fan, but I downloaded the album and have seen them live, not bad.- zombietycho
