so i got all the headphones in and tested them all out with music and gaming.  i finally chose to keep the q701 by akg.  i felt it suited me the best for gaming and music and was, for me, an all around more complete headphone than the others imo.  

cool...yeah i ordered the 250 pro since it was so much cheaper and there seems to be no huge difference so ill wait and see if it suites me.

im starting to understand a little.  My main concern is gaming with music and so forth being obviously important in general.  i just got a mayflower o2 / odac and its been awesome on my ad700x but i feel its not producing enough depth and imagery, if those were the correct terms.  im looking for...

But is the difference in sound stage worth $100? How would u compare those to the ad700x which I currently own?

Ok I'll check it out... I ordered the 702 already so hopefully it's good but if there's not a huge difference in the 701 I could save some money I think

why are the 880s more than the 990s?   i was thinking about trying them out but im not sure if theres a huge difference between them and the k702 i ordered to test...right now im using the ad700x and theyre pretty good so far.
