DT 770 vs 880 vs 990, no amp
B770 phones are good-sounding. I listen to them in my office instead of using Senn hd800s, for noise and sound control. For extra portability, consider Etymotic Hf5 in-ears or similar.- RagnarAyn

The (new) HD800 Impressions Thread
For travel I'm a fan of deep insertion iems. Currently Etys HF5 with triple flange. Blocks noise yet takes almost no space, essential for my business travel. And not so expensive that I worry much about leaving them in my bag all the time.- RagnarAyn
