I have updated via OTA... All went smooth and I can confirm that I no longer have any issues with playback when the screen goes to sleep. The feedback is that battery life is improved with the latest firmware and that is definitely the case for me I will have run it for hours commuting this...

Light Comes on so it has some power.... Looked for a spare as was going to try this but none at home at the minute. Thank you for the suggestion I will get a spare battery and try swapping it over.

I can confirm that latest version still has the screen issue.... When the screen sleeps so does the music. I keep my screen on at all times to combat this but it drains the battery quicker. Also no way of linking with Rm1 and I have tried everything. These are the only 2 problems that impact...

Yes i mainly use line out too....I have mentioned it a few times I'm kind of pleased others are starting to find the same as i thought it was just me.

Just in pure music mode and using line out through my car.

Hi Fiio, The freezing ocurrs when the screen goes to sleep...No further tracks will play so I currently have screen always on to counter it. RM1 can find other things to connect but hasn't worked with X7 since upgrading from FW 2

The issue that Boris65 is experiencing is the same one I mentioned since updating to fw3 versions. I have struggled with this problem for weeks. The short term fix is to switch your screen to never sleeping and this seems to help a bit, also finding that it does not want to work with Rm1 a lot...

The only way around it from the same experience on line out is to disable the screen fom sleeping. That seems to be what is stopping another track playing or track skip working so as long as the screen stays on you should get music.

Found another issue on 3.1.1 when listening in my car and using rm1 I can only get the same track when skipping back or forwards. I have selected to play through folders and have 400 tracks to skip through it just gives me the same one that was playing from the beginning again.

I also have an issue with some tracks not playing in fiio music app. These all worked fine on fw2 and it can mean some tracks working whilst others don't from the same album.
