I received confirmation this morning from Penon that the Rose Maria II is indeed discontinued. Now I’m annoyed that I had it sitting in my AliExpress basket for over a year and never pulled the trigger…. such is life!

100% agree, it’s a big concern. Did Fiio respond to you? Are there any top tier DAPs with removable/ easily replaceable batteries? The only similar thing I can think of is the Cayin C9, and it’s telling they didn’t go for a similar solution on the N8ii.

My M11 Pro battery has swollen over the past week or two and cracked open the back panel. Can anyone advise on a replacement battery? There’s a few options on AliExpress but am unsure which to go with. I presume it’s an easy replacement once I’ve acquired the battery?

Yes, it does seem hard to come by. I ordered from them in March but they were unable to fulfil the order then and said production was discontinued, so I cancelled. They also tried to send me something else, but I asked for a cancellation.
